Student visa (national)

German missions in India ask students to show funds for the first year; with a blocked account that is €11,904, with withdrawals capped at €992 a month.
Most applicants from India need an APS certificate before they apply.
Proof of German or English language skills is required, generally at B2 level or higher, unless your university confirms it.
The national visa fee is €75, paid in Indian rupees. Bring two identical sets of documents and your original certificates.
